More than 100 years ago, William Wood built a mill complex that would become the largest in the world, and home for his American Woolen Company.

No city street is filled with as much hope for recovery as Merrimack Street, where retailers, shoppers, commuters, office workers and residents have been gradually filling up the mile-long row of former mill buildings that once employed thousands.

Educators, business leaders, and representatives from the community gathered at Riverwalk on Wednesday, Dec. 11 to celebrate a new higher education partnership in the city of Lawrence.

In 1990, Sal Lupoli opened his first Sal's Pizza location in Salem, NH, in an 800-square-foot storefront along with his brother Nick. The brand became legendary for both quality and being the home of the Sal's 19", 3 lb. pizza.

The inaugural Teaming Up Against Hunger (TUAH) program, presented by Sal’s Pizza, kicked off with back-to-back pep rallies at the Center School in Chelmsford, Mass. and the Tarbox School in Lawrence, Mass. in late-January.
