Summary: The Residential Real Estate Leasing Specialist / Community Liaison is a full-time position reporting directly to the Residential Community Manager and is responsible for the on-site leasing of two luxury resident communities comprising of 254 units in adherence with company standards and state guidelines. The position involves scheduling and conducting tours, screening prospective residents, managing the rental application process and lease-related administrative duties. Taking an active role as a contributing team member to plan and monitor the performance of marketing and social media initiatives to promote the Riverwalk residential brand is extremely important. The responsibilities of this position are multi-faceted and include and are not limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive all leads through phone, email, web, and other.  Track all leads activity from Lead to Lease and prepare daily leasing activity reports.

  • Conduct quarterly market overviews tracking competition occupancy, rental rates, amenities and concessions.

  • Greet prospective residents and qualify utilizing established criteria.

  • Manage potential residents/leads through a thorough and organized guest card process, reports for phone and in-person visits adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

  • Track win/loss ratio for new prospects, lead sources, and other benchmark criteria to create a “dashboard” executive summary of all leasing activity.

  • Contribute to team efforts for social media and other marketing initiatives.

  • Respond to all inquiries and requests for information.

  • Distribute promotional marketing materials.

  • Schedule and conduct tours of residences and campus.

  • Process applications, secure deposits, submit for approval via OneSite.

  • Ensure procedures and processes are compliant with Fair Housing guidelines.

  • Inspect available residences prior to move-ins and report any work that needs to be completed to Maintenance Team; follow-up to ensure work has been completed.

  • Ensure readiness for resident move-in.

  • Assist with planning, executing and attending resident events.

  • Work collaboratively with Resident Ambassador and Liaison to be part of a team that takes pride and action to ensure the cleanliness of the property.

  • Assist Community Manager as needed with administrative functions, preparation of welcome kits and collateral. 

  • Assist Community Manager with renewal process including but not limited to lease preparation and other.


  • Bachelor degree preferred, but not required.

  • 3-5 years of leasing experience; commercial leasing & property management experience a plus.

  • Keen ability to work without direction.

  • Great collaboration and team building skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task and communicate effectively (written and oral).

  • Excellent computer and research skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook).

  • Valid driver’s license.
