We are in search of a maintenance professional. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional customer service, a can-do attitude and possess the skills to perform in multiple areas of maintenance which include, but are not limited to, painting, minor repairs, general cleaning (internal and external to the properties), floors, tenant service requests as well as some preventive maintenance. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of follow-through to completion in all areas of performance are critical requirements.
This position is responsible for general maintenance duties, work orders, responding to tenant calls and other operational and administrative responsibilities.
General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, painting and other building mechanical systems preferable (licenses not required).
Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established programs and make recommendations for improvements where required.
Additional duties include inspections, vendor coordination and oversight, site safety, and participation in rotating emergency service call coverage.
Communicate effectively and proactively with tenants, property owner, property management team and vendors.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
Technical, vocational or on the job training in HVAC, minor electrical and plumbing, light carpentry and routine preventative maintenance preferable.
Experience with building systems, i.e., electronic lighting controls, timers, etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in English both written and oral.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Outlook; familiarity with electronic work order and preventative maintenance systems.
Valid driver’s license
