Lawrence General’s Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Program is an example of successful efforts at several Massachusetts hospitals to help opiate-exposed newborn babies and their recovering mothers thrive through the challenges of opiate addiction and recovery.

This program and this facility are making a big difference in the lives of families in our community, which is at the core of the Lupoli Family Foundation’s mission to provide resources to those who need it most. Sal Lupoli applauds the ground-breaking work being done in the Pediatric Care Unit that bears his family name and is dedicated, "to bring new life into the city, into the world."
