Entrepreneurs in the Spotlight

In honor of National Entrepreneurs' Day, we look at how Lupoli Companies President and CEO, Sal Lupoli, has grown his own company while also supporting small business owners as they pursue their dreams. 

What started with a slice of pizza has become an innovative, industry-leading organization fueled by Sal’s passion for creating change in communities. Transforming old mill buildings into vibrant mixed-use developments, Sal believes in job creation and economic stimulation at the local level. “When you create new jobs, you generate additional revenue sources that translate to better schools and neighborhoods and more self-pride,” says Sal. “To be able to say you made a difference in a gateway city is the same as saying you made a difference in someone’s life.” 

Always true to his roots, Sal is very supportive of other entrepreneurs, realizing that the value in relationships is the best investment towards success. Our real estate projects blend residential, commercial and retail spaces providing a springboard for innovative, growth and creativity. He says, “If you want to build a community you need to work with and support the small entrepreneur.” 

Sal was that small entrepreneur who got his start in 1990 and never looked back. Today, he actively seeks and mentors small business owners because “the successful ones will add significant value to the lives and economy of the communities where we live, work and play”.
