Content Writer and Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented and motivated individual to support the marketing efforts of our fast-paced real estate team. Reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Director, the Content Writer and Marketing Specialist is responsible for writing original content for websites, blogs, social media and online and traditional marketing material. The qualified candidate will assist in planning and implementing company sponsored events and assist in a number of marketing administrative tasks.

 

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Research ideas and facts pertinent to the type of content/topic assigned
  • Write fresh content based on research and brainstorming with marketing team

  • Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audience

  • Write creative content for customer-facing marketing and sales initiatives 

  • Edit and proofread content created by other members of the team to provide detailed feedback

  • Contributes to the company’s social sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram

  • Ensure that content contains sufficient keywords for search engine optimization

  • Assist with planning and implementing internal/external events

  • Conduct market research and target and coordinate attendance at appropriate CRE events

  • Database compilation and management

  • Marketing administrative tasks

  • Track marketing budgets

 

Core Competencies: 

  • 3+ years of professional writing experience – MUST PROVIDE SAMPLES OR YOUR WORK
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Adwords
  • Strong content planning and strategy development
  • Previous marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people
  • Experience in Microsoft Office – Adobe Creative Suite a plus
